Chilly Days are Made for Celestial Seasonings #LiveFlavorfully

For me, cold weather is not ideal. I hate saying goodbye to the warmer months, which means trading my tee shirts and bare feet for chunky sweaters and riding boots. If there's any saving grace to the cooler temperatures, it's settling in under a thick blanket with a hot cuppa tea. Living in the south for most of my life, I grew up on sweet iced sun tea, but as soon as fall hits in Indiana, it's time to put that pitcher away, pull out my electric tea kettle and indulge in my favorite Celestial Seasonings teas.

I buy my tea from Walmart where I know they always have a huge selection of my favorite Celestial Seasonings Tea in stock at affordable prices. Right now, I am starting my days with Celestial Seasonings Citrus Sunrise Herbal Supplement Tea. I choose Celestial Seasonings because not only do they offer more flavor varieties that I like to sip on, but is also generally less expensive than other tea brands.

This vibrant blend offers a harmonious medley of notes of bright oranges, rosehips, fruity blackberry leaves and tangy hibiscus to deliciously awaken your senses. And, it provides 130% of daily Vitamin C, which I love to up my intake of during cold and flu season for immune support and digestive health, making this a great way to do so. Those of you who have been here awhile know that I much prefer to start my day with tea over coffee because I think that tea offers many more health benefits than coffee and doesn't leave me feeling jittery throughout the day. It pairs really well with my favorite lemon poppy seed breakfast bread.

I do want to point out that Celestial Seasonings Citrus Sunrise is now available with a new name, Vitamin C Shine. It's still the same quality tea, just with a new name, so be sure to look for it on your local Walmart store shelf as Vitamin C Shine.

The days are chilly, but not too cold where I can't enjoy a hot cuppa tea out on my porch while I watch my dogs play in the yard. It's one of my favorite things to do right now to keep my mind focused and calm before the storm of the holiday season is upon us.

If you're looking for other great tea flavors to fit into your cold weather routines, let me recommend Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Tea and Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea varieties. Tension Tamer is a rich, luxurious blend providing an excellent source of Vitamin B and a delicious aroma. Sleepytime is a great way to wind down the day with its soothing blend of botanicals that you an find in herbal, decaf green and wellness teas, so you can always brew the perfect cup for you bedtime routines.

  1. My fave Celestial Seasonings teas are Bengal Spice (I add warm almond milk to make a chai tea) and the Honey Lemon Ginseng green tea.

  2. I like the big ol' mug you use. I know you know I like my coffee, but I'm down for a good cup of tea too, and I'd prefer a big mug like that so I don't have to keep refilling. I like Celestial Chamomile Tea!!

    1. I like big mugs too, but I find I have to microwave my tea a lot faster when I use them for some reason.

  3. Oooh, you did not have a tea post in a looooong time! How lovely that they have so much vitamins in them! And I love how they put cute little animals on their boxes, so cute! And, yep, the mug is super cute, the shape of it especially. And look at those midnight blue nails, so refined and posh!

    1. Those are Allison's nails. Had to make her model for me as I was short on time for this campaign LOL. She does like the darker blues and purples like her mama though!

  5. Even if winter isn't your cup of tea you still make the best of the tea lol

Yeah, tea does have more health benefits than coffee indeed. I don't drink it as it gives me stys. And those suck.

  6. I'm all about those riding boots and chunky sweaters! I pretty much retired my t-shirts at the first sign of Fall. I've been drinking a large mug of Chamomile tea every night since it calms me. Maybe I will swap one of my too many cups of coffee for a mid day cup of Country Peach Passion! That sounds delicious.

  8. I'd have a hard time choosing a flavor. I do like citrus because it always tastes good with ginger. Ginger reduces inflammation, which in turn helps my asthma.

  9. Great blog. Although I like the Vitamin C Shine it is not the same as the Citrus Sunshine. Citrus Sunshine had a bit of a bolder taste to be and definitely had considerably more Vitamin C bang for the buck. I've wondered why the change. I may have to reach out to Celestial seasonings and ask why the change.
