Warm Weather Dining with Entenmann’s #Entenmanns #BackyardDessert

“The coupons for product redemption, information, and gift card have been provided by Entenmann’s so that I could try the products and share my thoughts and information about Entenmann’s®. The opinions expressed in this post are my own and do not reflect the opinions of Entenmann’s®.”

Even though back to school is right around the corner, there is still plenty of summertime left. Although we don't get to go many places besides the lake these days, we still manage to have a great time because we always center our activities around delicious summertime meals. While we all love a good backyard barbecue and the food that entails, the most satisfying part of our cookout is usually ending it with a sweet treat. Because it's so hot out lately, baking isn't very appealing. That's why I love keeping baked goods from Entenmann's® on hand. This summer, we are using a lot of Entenmann's Minis for out dessert needs for quick, easy and scrumptious snacking.

Entenmann's Minis

When it comes to Entenmann's, everyone has a favorite. From their cakes, pies, donuts and other baked goods, there's something for everyone. I have been using the minis pound cakes to make my Strawberry Shortcakes for One all summer, but I decided this week to swap over to a more decadent desert for our backyard dining by purchasing the Entenmann's Minis Brownie Chocolate Chip to make these incredible Brookie Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Dessert has never been easier or more delicious. Simply slice Entenmann's Minis Brownie Chocolate Chip in half, spread 2 tablespoons of vanilla (or any flavor of your choosing) on the bottom half of the brownie, then top with the other half. Wrap the ice cream sandwich in plastic wrap, then store in the freezer until ready to eat.

Entenmann's Minis

Or if you want to go even simpler with your backyard dessert, place an Entenmann's Minis Cherry or Apple Snack Pie on a plate topped with ice cream for a fruit pie a la mode that's ready to eat in seconds.

Entenmann's Minis

Entenmann's Minis are the same variety of baked goods that you know and love, from pound and crumb cakes, brownies, apple and cherry pies and more, only smaller and individually wrapped. You can find them at your local grocers (check the store locator to find your favorites near you) to create your own fun desserts for backyard dining this summer.

WIN IT!

    1. We went berry picking on Friday. I got 6 pounds picked before got too hot and had to leave. I want to go back one more time before the season is up. Do you have a link to the blueberry coconut scones recipe or it's one you already had on hand? That sounds like a delicious way to use up some of the berries!

    1. Yes, they are prepackaged baked treats. Aren't those plates lovely? I can't remember where I bought them, maybe Target, but I have the two gray ones and I also have 2 dark blue that are even prettier than the gray. Wish I would have bought more.
