While it's not technically fall yet, I'm easing into the season like Sunday morning, welcoming it with an open heart and open arms. I know that I'm always boasting about being a summer girl, but there's something about those first few nips in the air that give me a little twinge of delight that autumn is on the horizon. Last weekend, I swapped out all of my summery interior decor for a fall inspired look, then went shopping for new mums to decorate my front porch. Now that the girls are back in school, I love starting my mornings sitting among my new autumn flowers, breathing in the crisp air, while sipping on a freshly brewed cuppa hot tea.

Bigelow Tea

In the summer, I usually start my morning with a cup of black or fruit flavored tea, but now that fall is quickly approaching, I've swapped out my summery flavors for New Bigelow Tea Varieties that are perfect for cool autumn days. After dropping the girls off at school, I treat myself to a quick 20 minute mini "me time" session, collecting my thoughts and coming up with a game plan for how best to tackle the day. Confidence in one hand and New Bigelow Green Tea with Ginger plus Probiotics in the other.

I am a huge fan of green tea in general, but was pretty excited to find this new Bigelow tea variety on the shelf at my local Walmart store. As one with tummy issues, I am always looking to add more probiotics into my daily diet, so I'm thrilled that Bigelow is helping me maintain my health goals. Also, I love the extra warmth of flavor that I get from the ginger. It's just so cozy and inviting!

Some mornings I'll be a little extra and add in a baked goodie to my morning routine, because we all deserve to treat ourselves every now and again, right!?

For bedtime though, I like to slow things down a bit. Where the green tea and ginger allows me to start my day with a clear and open mind, at the end of the day it is all about unwinding and letting go of the day's stresses. I'll settle in for a little light reading about a half hour before sleep, and always have a warm cup of tea in hand to help me transition into my nighttime routine with ease. For the past week I have been all over NEW Bigelow Lavender Chamomile Herbal Tea plus Probiotics.

Bigelow Lavender Chamomile Tea

I can't even express how important this new Bigelow tea variety has been in my nightly routine recently. I've been under a lot of stress for the past few months, but after sipping on a warm cup of Bigelow Lavender Chamomile Herbal Tea plus Probiotics, I feel so relaxed and my mind is at ease and ready to slip into a peaceful slumber. I'm sure this new tea variety is going to be a constant staple in my nighttime routine from here on out, even as the seasons continuously change.

Bigelow has always been my #1 choice when shopping for tea because I know that I am going to get high quality teas every time. The company spans 3 family generations, is US manufactured, and because the bags are securely packaged in foil, I'm getting the freshest tea possible. I never pass the tea aisle when shopping at Walmart because I love stocking up on my favorite Bigelow varieties and hunting for new varieties as well.

If you'd like to learn more about these New Bigelow Tea Varieties that are perfect for transitioning into fall, be sure to head to your local Walmart store to stock up. This girl right here is definitely fall ready, cabinets stock with my favorite Bigelow teas, ready to welcome the new season comfortably and cozy. And, once you stock up on your fall favorites, use the hashtag  #TryNewBigelowTea on social media so we can see what you're sipping on!

How have you started gearing up for fall?

  1. You did such a lovely Autumn set up for it, dear! And such lovely flowers you have on your porch! And you already know how much I love your pumpkin mug! So adorable.
I don't do ginger, especially not in tea, but I'm looking forward to returning to chamomile and nettle after the season of ambrosia pollen allergy ends in a few weeks.
It is interesting that they ad probiotics in it, they ad them only to yoghurt and nothing else here LOL
I haven't had hot tea in at least two months, I only drink ice tea during summer, so I cannot wait for colder mornings to bring back my usual Lipton black tea routine.

    1. I have never done ginger in my tea either, only food, but boy am I surprised at how much I love it!
I have hot tea every night before bed, all 4 seasons. It's one of the few things that help me slip into a quick slumber.
We are starting to see probiotics in a lot of products here lately. I just started drinking kombucha with probiotics every afternoon with my lunch. Idk if it's helping yet or not since I'm being a bit counter productive on my diet with it since it does have sugar in there and that's one thing I've been really strict about keeping out of my diet. But if the health benefits outweigh the sugar content, I'm all for giving a little leeway there.

  2. With green tea you will set an open door and then with the arrival of the cold season the door opens to the teas!

    1. Well, duh! Of course Halloween is my favorite thing about the season ;) Figured it was a given so it didn't mean to be mentioned again LOL! Though, I haven't broken out any of my spooky decor yet, so maybe I have lost a little of that magic touch.

  8. Hi, Theresa! After reading this post, I had to go plug in my kettle and take out some Cinnamon Apple Spice tea. I haven't tried Bigelow teas, although Walmart and my local grocery store carry them. My Great Uncle Stan introduced me to Celestial Seasonings teas decades ago in Nova Scotia. I had never been to Colorado where Celestial Seasons teas are made, and Colorado was pretty exotic to me then. I had no clue that I would spend much of my adult life in Colorado. However, I am going to try one of the Bigelow teas because of the probiotics. I, too, am incorporating probiotics into my diet. I didn't get to Southlands today as planned, but I will be there tomorrow, and I'm definitely going to Best Buy to check out the Bosch dishwashers. I was telling friends at dinner tonight about the Nixplay Seed Digital Photo Frame. I was thinking how fun it would be to load up all the family photos into a frame and give it to my siblings. Well, I guess it would have to be four frames. That's something I've got filled away for later, because I have a lot to do right now! Tonight is our first chilly night, and the tea is tasting so good! Thanks!

    1. Isn't that something how things just run full circle like that? Have you toured the tea plant then?
I hope you were able to get to Southlands, but if you're in a writing frenzy, I hope you did that instead :)
Aren't those Nixplay frames so wonderful for keeping connected with family? I am passing them out to relatives this holiday season too. We are so spread out and not everyone has social media, it's a great way to stay connected even when we're all so far apart ♥

  14. Unlike you, I'm 100% dedicated to Autumn. lol! I love the sun, but absolutely hate the humidity. Because of that, I welcome Fall with open arms. I drink the regular green tea from Bigelow and their plain chamomile tea. I like to drink the chamomile tea before bed because it helps me digest. Which may be in my head...

    1. Thankfully, we don't get very much humidity here in Indiana. When we were in FL a few years back though, I though I was going to die from it. And my poor hair :( I did not share many pictures from that trip LOL
