Honey Mustard Green Beans with Almonds is a Fast Summertime Side Dish!

Even though the stores are pushing back-to-school shopping, there's still plenty of BBQ weather ahead! Honestly, we plan cookouts almost all the way through October here, so for us, we still have several months of backyard shindigs, picnics, and outdoor party fun in store. Whether you are hosting or an attendee, sometimes you just need a fast and easy, but still delicious recipe. Especially in the summer, because who wants to spend more time in the kitchen than necessary when it's scorching hot out? Not me! Green Beans with Almonds, a Golden Blossom Honey recipe, can be ready in a snap. And while they are super simple to prepare (so simple even a caveman can do it. anyone remember that commercial? lol) the addition of sliced almonds dresses it up for a more elegant presentation, no one needs to know just how easy this recipe actually is to make.

Honey Mustard Almond Green Beans

If you have some green beans in your garden ready to be harvested, I highly encourage you to save some for this recipe. It pairs well with all of your favorite main courses, like fish, pork, chicken, beef, and turkey. This side dish can be done from start to finish in under 10 minutes so you'll have plenty of time to focus on more summer fun and less time spent on kitchen duty.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter, room temperature
2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY MUSTARD
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
1 pound green beans, trimmed

  6. I love fresh green beans. I've put in complaints at the store I shop at because they rarely have any out. If I ask for them, they go back and get some in their back.

I like them with onions and bacon. Most the time I just have them boiled in some water plain.

  7. Now THIS is the kind of bean recipe I like. The casseroles are too heavy. Pinning this one and making it later this week.
