  1. This is a great gift guide. I usually have my boys just take me out for breakfast. Then we do something I want to do - like if there's a movie I want to see. Something like that.

I take my own Mom out for breakfast a different morning with my sisters.

    1. I think waiting to take your mom out to breakfast on another day is a good idea. It's always so packed at the restaurants here on Mother's Day

  2. Sure got some great ideas there indeed. Mom wants a lawnmower, so that's what she'll get haha easy peasy, give her something that makes her work. Hmmm...

    1. Hey, if it makes her life easier, I'd say a lawnmower is an excellent gift idea!

    1. He hasn't gotten his own mama anything yet. We'll grab her a flower basket for her garden this weekend though.

This will be my first Mother's Day without Mariah. She's headed off to Columbia for a study abroad science program this Sunday and won't be back until June :(

    2. Oooh, how fun for Mariah! I bet she will enjoy the opportunity! It is better that she experiences everything that she can now while she has the energy. Do you think they could ask her to transfer to Columbia for the rest of her studies? I know it is a famous college, right?
Then it is up to Ally to play the Cinderella part :) put the gurl to work LOL while you and Leah prepare for the ball :)

    3. No, she won't transfer. She got offered a paid intern position at her current school for next summer learning how to use a new medical machine they just got in, so that's a pretty big deal for. She is looking forward to meeting new people in Columbia though and interacting with the teachers and local students.

Hahahaha. Allison wouldn't be caught dead doing any chores like Cinderella. She only fanicies herself as the Cinderella from the castle, not the evil step mama's ward.

  4. I could go for some new nail polish. I use it mostly on my toes because my fingernails get chipped paint so easily, but I'm ready to shed the bare and color my fingertips for a bit. Bland gets old quick too. :)

    1. I am so bad about doing my fingernails too because they always chip within hours. My toes though ALWAYS have to be painted.
