Theresa's Mixed Nuts: Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

I hope you all (those who celebrate) had a lovely Easter! We kept it simple this year, opting not to host a party, but we still managed to have a great day. I did hide a few plastic eggs around the house for the girls. Even as teens, they still get a kick out of a good egg hunt. We let them dye a few real eggs...

Then went to grandma's for Easter dinner. We pulled out our scary bunny suit and terrified a few kids. Junior is a little curious, but some of the other kids wanted nothing to do with him and went screaming into the house. It may be time to retire the old bunny suit here.

Did a little back yard Easter egg hunting...

And ended the day with Pie Face...

Pie Face

What was the highlight of your Easter celebrations this year?

  1. Put dollar bills in plastic eggs, and you'll be surprised how interested they'll be to find those eggs no matter how old they get.

Remember to keep Eostre in Easter :)

  3. That bunny looks a bit scary, who's under it, you or Jason? :)
And those purple eggs look best, especially the galaxy one in the corner.
Hope you and the family had a lovely weekend! We have Orthodox Easter soon here too, it's never just one here....

    1. I make Jason wear it so I can take photos. It gets really hot, and he hates it, so we usually have to make the bunny visit go by as fast as possible.

  13. Your Easter looks absolutely perfect, especially the family time. My favorite part of our celebration was enjoying a glass of wine and my sister's banana chocolate coconut cream pie.
