The Facebook recommendations are usually a hit or miss for me. There really is no in between. Sometimes they are lucky enough to come with some comments that you can view through to get an idea of the event. The pumpkin carvings are pretty neat, though! The freeze came here as well, it's about 10*C outside, and close to zero at night, we are taking all our chrysanthemums to the graveyard today or tomorrow as it is All Saints here, so no need to worry about them freezing anymore!
