Try These Innovative Plant-Based Snacks and Drinks from Spinning Wheel Brands

Have you noticed the uptick in companies finally offering more options for those who follow a vegetarian or full plant-based diet? I've only been a vegetarian for 3 years, but I can tell you how frustrating it has been trying to find high-quality foods and snacks that cater to my needs. I know I'm not alone because I've recently been hearing more and more about how brands are taking note of the growing need for for more vegetarians and vegan options. This is exciting to me knowing that with growing demand, there's going to be more yummy and healthy options hitting the store shelves soon.

I am a snacker, so having more good-for-you products stocked in the house is important to me. I also like it when I find a brand I enjoy snacking on has single-serve options so I can take my snacks with me when I'm on-the-go.

Veggiecopia

Spinning Wheel Brands, parent company of Hope & Sesame, Mozaics and Handfulls has been a new favorite of mine this past month. Not only do they offer high-quality, healthy snacking offerings, they are all gluten-free, certified organic, vegetarian with vegan options. Even better is that many of their products can be purchased in packages that offer single servings of your favorite snacks, so snacking healthy while out and about is no longer an issue for me.

My daughter's boyfriend spends most of his free time here, and since he's a wrestler, boxer, and about to be leaving for basic training later this month, he's very conscientious about what foods he consumes to nourish his body. When I opened up my shipment of goodies from Spinning Wheel Brands, he gasped and said, "Organic snacks with dairy-free milk!?" Yep, he was excited! While the snacks were something he couldn't wait to try, he was itching to dig into Hope & Sesame Chocolate Lovers Non-Dairy Sesamemilk. Since he's lactose intolerant, he hasn't been able to indulge in his love of chocolatey milks for years, so he made sure to stake his claim to the carton as soon as I took it out of the box.

Hope & Sesame Sesame Milk

Chocolate flavors of Hope & Sesame non-dairy sesamemilk are loaded with protein, but only 1/2 the calories of dairy chocolate milks, and since it won't upset the tummy of those who suffer from a lactose intolerance, it's one that I'll be sure to keep stocked in the fridge at all times.

We all know that nuts are a great thing to snack on, but let's admit it, they can get boring after a bit. However, Handfulls takes nuts to the next level with their 6 unexpected CrrrunchBites flavor twists, like Chili Lime, BBQ, Honey Mustard, Nacho Ranch, Sea Salt and Nacho.

Handfulls Almonds

I do get a hankering for potato chips, but now I can get my fix without the unhealthy bits mixed in when I reach for Mozaics. The Organic Popped Veggie & Potato Chips are made with simple, clean ingredients that you can see in every bite-sized triangle.

Mozaics

I'm glad that Spinning Wheel Brands are catering to more health-conscious consumers. Either at home or on-the-go, I am stoked that I have such amazing snacks to tuck into when I need something to nibble on.

    1. Thanks dahlink :) It was Allison's bag. Had to use it since I don't have a cross body bag of my own. Yep those are little bambies on my dress. Allison told me it was ugly, but I don't care. I like it.

    2. It is not that it isn't ugly :)) but it is cute fugly, the cuteness that justifies the general fugliness LOL

    3. It's definitely cute fugly, but that's what appealed to me about. Allison was like "there's just too much going on with all that contrasting print!" Then again, she says all my clothes are ugly (even though she steals half of them) so what does she know? ;P

  5. Sounds like it was a hit all around. Nuts? Boring? Bah, when they are all you can eat, beats nadda. Although yeah, almonds can bore. Those ones look better. As far as companies jumping on the bandwagon, of course, they see the $$$ signs. But hey, at least there are more options now.

  19. This does look like a great stash of snacks. We have a nut jar instead of a cookie jar. The boys are always hungry, so I point them that direction.
