End The Year On A Sweet Note With Lovely

Now that Christmas is behind us, it's time to start planning out our New Year's Eve celebrations. I'd like to say that we throw a huge bash and get crazy, but the truth is we always have a low-key night of staying in ordering pizza, playing board games, and munching on snacks. In all honesty, I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than with my husband and girls and lots of yummy eats, so this year we'll be keeping our plans mostly the same. I might actually get crazy and shake things up by making tacos instead of ordering pizza, but we'll see. That might be too much excitement for me to handle in one night.

One thing that we'll definitely be adding to our New Year's game table this year is Lovely confections, so we can end 2017 and start 2018 on a sweet note.

Lovely Candies

Lovely candies are made in small batches with only the finest, pure and simple ingredients. They offer a wide selection of the yummiest sweets, from Caramels and Pretzel Balls to Licorice and Fruit Chews, as well as Chocolate Truffles and Coconut Chips.

What fun is game night with the family without having a few caramels to unwrap and enjoy while waiting your turn? If you know me, you know I am a sucker for sea salt anything, so I set aside a bag of Lovely Sea Salt Caramels to toast in the New Year. My husband is all about the Chocolate Swirl Caramels and the girls really dig the Salted Chocolate Pretzel Balls. While we all have our own Lovely favorite, we can all agree that you can't go wrong with any of their bagged confections.

Lovely Caramels

While Lovely is delicious in every way, what makes them even better is that they are GMO-free, do not contain artificial colors, flavors, high-fructose corn syrup or trans fats, and are gluten free and kosher. They are the perfect treat to have on hand for your New Year's celebrations!

You can find products from The Lovely Candy Company at select Walgreen's, Whole Foods, and Amazon as well as many other retailers nationwide. Be sure to grab a few bags for your New Year's celebrations so you can end the year on a sweet note too.

What are your New Year's Eve plans?

  2. OMG I nearly fainted seeing those heavenly treats! That is until I saw they're salted.... freakin' Americans salting everything :PPP I swear you will all die from high blood pressure on a national level he he he :)
They do look positively sinful! My local candy factory Pionir is famous for their hazelnut caramels.
I will be working for NY but here it is usually the biggest holiday of the year when everybody goes out for a crazy party.

    1. Dahlink, not every one of them is salted. You can choose the non salted candies and not die of a heart attack before the New Year lol. As for me, the more salt the better. Big, fat chunks of it on my chocolate, please :P

Cheers to a year starting off with lots of works under your belt. I can't wait to see what all comes your way for translation next year!

    2. But they have nothing with white chocolate :( The world never caters for us who like white chocolate!
What are those delightful black plates with gold dots? I think I like them a lot!

    3. White chocolate is my fave too. My mom always makes sure she buys me a huge stash at the holidays so I can treat myself to a little nibble of it here and there.

Aren't those plates cute? I got a 4 pack of them for just $3 at Target last year and forgot all about them until I pulled out my New Year's stuff over the weekend. I need to put them in a spot I'll remember to use them more frequently throughout the year.

  3. Low key is sure the way to be. Never have done much at my sea, as the cat doesn't buy the whole "magic" day thing, as you may know haha so we'll just keep on keeping on like any other day.

    1. I'm dreading the next month or two of the gym when it's packed full of those "magic day" believers. By March it will be back to normal though.

  5. We're having a big dance party for New Years Eve. I'd love to bow out, but it's already in the works. Sometimes I just feel like there's too much on our plates. This year for sure is that way. After having it for a few years, some people plan on it before we even ask them.

    These snacks look great!

  7. I don't have any big plans yet. I always remember that the best NYEs are spontaneous and the planned events never work. Those candies look awesome.

    1. I think some of the best memories are made during spontaneous moments. I think that's why we like to keep it low key. Less stress, more fun :)

  10. I need to get these for our New Year's festivities! We always have a low key night. With two kiddos under 3, we are exhausted and entertaining is the last thing we want to do. Hanging out and snacking is our favorite thing to do on New Year's Eve!

  14. New Year's gives me mixed emotions - I am hopeful and anxious at the same time. Hopeful for new good opportunities, and anxious because we don't really know what the next 12 months would bring. Me and my husband just try our best to celebrate and be happy to welcome another year. I'd probably get some of those salted caramel candies. That would give me a good mood for sure.

  16. My oldest and his family came to spend the night with us, and my grandbaby is still here (whoohoo). :) I'll take her back home tomorrow and then back to the grindstone for everyone. The Lovely snacks do look delish. I think I'm going to side with your girls and say those pretzel balls would likely be my fave...although I'm sure they're all really good!
