Get More Adventures with Groupon

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions stated are my own.

It is said that travel is the only thing that you can buy that makes you richer, and I couldn't agree more. I work hard all year so my family can go on at least one travel adventure every summer. Travel isn't cheap, but if money isn't an issue in your world where you can jet set to wherever your heart desires whenever you want, that's great. But for most of us, money is a very real issue and we have to pinch pennies if we want to go on great adventures.

Thankfully, I married a very frugal man and no sooner than we have our next vacation destination in mind, he's hopping online to find the best travel deals so we can get more bang for our buck. Groupon has been our go-to for travel related savings for the past few years. We don't book lodging or plan activities until we've scoured Groupon looking for the best deals available.

On our recent Las Vegas trip, we were excited to see that we could save on Hotels.com through Groupon. We were able to get accommodations right on the Las Vegas Strip for a lot less than we would have paid booking directly through the hotel. Who wants to spend a fortune on a hotel room that you aren't going to spend a lot of time in? I'd rather save my cash for fun activities!

Groupon is the perfect place to explore to find savings on many travel related expenses. In addition to lodging, you can save on dining, entertainment,  and more! Groupon coupons are completely free for you to use and really help make your travel dollars stretch further.

Before you book lodging and activities for you next vacation, head over to Groupon first to browse through hundreds of merchants that will help you stretch those vacation dollars to the max.

What are some ways you save for travel?

    1. No, only because our feet hurt from all the walking we did. It was comfy shoes and shorts all the way for me. There were a lot of people looking all pretty in their dressy clothes at night though. I just wasn't one of them.

    2. well what a waste of opportunity, missy. You and Jason should've dressed up one evening and gone to a casino! Or to a cabaret show!

    3. We should have, but we were keeping this vacation all about family activities. We did say we'd like to go back with another couple at some point to take in the adult side and nightlife of Vegas.

  2. I'll try hotels next time. Expedia doesn't really earn me any perks (despite what they say) but it's convenient I'll give them that

    1. Definitely see what Groupon has in the way of discounts for your next trip. I don't think we've ever saved much with Expedia.

  20. I use Groupon. They do have some great savings opportunities. I've stayed on the strip. It was a LOT of walking, so we took a taxi. The driver was crazy and we saw our lives flash before our eyes, lol. Walking then became fun again. ;) :)

    1. Bwhaha! My fitness tracker said we were doing a little over 30,000 steps a day, so yes, it is a lot of walking. Our Uber driver was a little aggressive too, but I guess they have to be that way in a city that big.
