    1. My male boxer has a tiny chunk taken out of his ear too. I think another dog bit into him when he was at doggy daycare a few years back :(

    1. I think Rufus must visit here as well. I have a squirrel that has a grand time sitting just out of reach of my dogs teasing them too!

  5. Oh we name all of our back yard critters. We've been naming them ever since our fist child named a squirrel Bubby.

  6. Evidentally I have five squirrels with the same name. When I call out 'Simon,' they all come running for the seeds and peanut butter rolls.

  13. I think that is so cute you name your lawn critters.
We frequently look out the windows, have a bird feeder; we also tend to spot two rabbits that pal around early in the morning.

  14. We live outside of the major city so we get a lot of critters. We have rabbits mostly and lots of birds that we didn't normally see in the city.

  18. Some beautiful pictures these are & I love Shady so much right away for being too cute! The picture of Ollie is quiet brilliant with the background & that tree without leaves makes it a great shot.

  19. We don't name them at home, but we have a groundhog at work. We named him, "Berry". A coworker and I decided to play a prank on another coworker that we know will buy into anything. I told her the name of our groundhog and she said, "No way. That's the name of my dog." I said, "Really?! I didn't think of that." She said, "Well actually he was named after the Juaquin Bertholimule." I said, "No way! That's who I named the groundhog after." She said, "Really? What are the odds?" I said, "None. I'm totally making it all up." We were all laughing!
