Going Coconuts for Renpure

*Disclosure- I received the mentioned product courtesy of the sponsor for the purpose of this review. All opinions are genuine, based on my experience with the product, and have not been influenced by promotional items.

Know what I did last week, what I'll be doing this week, and what I'll be doing again the following week? If you guessed going to the beach, you my friend, are correct! I am a firm believer that life is better in flip flops. Sandy toes and a sun kissed nose are things I live for this time of the year.

Going to the beach is a full day event for me. From midday to sunset, the beach is my happy place. It's where I catch up on my summer reading, get some fitness in with a little swimming and paddle boarding, and just have a completely chill day with my loved ones. At the end of the day, we all leave the beach feeling exhausted and having not a care in the world. And, we can't wait to come back to do it all again real soon.

The beach is great for my mental health, but all that sun, sand, heat, wind and water isn't too great for my hair. Now, we all want sexy beach waves, but I have naturally curly, frizzy hair, the only waves I'm catching are out on the water. During the summer months I have to take extra care with my hair care regimen to minimize the damage the season inflicts upon my head. I make every effort to find products that are going to help lock in moisture and reduce frizz, and prevent my hair from feeling like a barrel of hay. That's why my latest obsession this season is Coconut Cream hair care products from Renpure.

Family owned and operated, Renpure focuses on delivering the purest, responsibly-sourced products available. As a mother, I really try to pay close attention to the chemicals that my children are exposed to with their health and beauty products. I was very pleased to learn that all of Renpure's products are free of sulfates, parabens, harsh salts, dyes, and gluten, exposing my family to nothing but healthy, clean hair with each wash.

The Coconut Cream shampoo and conditioner helps to easily wash away all of the day's dirt and grime, and the coconut oil leaves hair feeling soft and looking shiny.

The Coconut Water Mist Leave-In Treatment helps to restore dry, frizzy hair, and is a great detangler. Use it to hydrate and protect against heat styling damage. The Coconut Oil Micro Mist Oil Treatment seals in vital nutrients, giving hair a vibrant, healthy glow without making it feel greasy or weighed down.

I was hoping that the products would have a slight coconut scent to them, but for the most part, they are fragrance-free. There was just a very light, floral scent left behind after washing. Just a good, clean scent, but not smelling of coconut in any way.

Renpure products are definitely salon quality, but without the hefty price tag. You can find them at many retailers nationwide. To learn more about the Coconut Cream line, or to see other products available, visit Renpure.com.

Where's your summertime happy place?

  1. What? They don't smell like coconut? Why oh why??? I ever so hate it when something is with coconut and does not smell like coconut. I have a Palmolive shower gel with coconut oil but it has no smell of coconut, so I had to buy me Fa Coconut shower gel as well to ease my coconut addiction :)

Who is that in that lovely first photo, Mary and Aly or you? Jason doesn't cut a figure fine enough to have his silhouette kissed by the sunset on a photo? :PPP

Whenever you is talking about beach I constantly think you live somewhere near the ocean and then I wonder where is the ocean in Indiana :)

    1. Isn't coconut one of the best scents ever? I just want to slather myself in it!

That's my best friend's daughter and her friend in the photo. I'm sure Jason will be highly offended that you didn't think that was him in the pic. He works so hard on his fluffy curves lol.

Sadly, no ocean here, but pull up a map of the Great Lakes. We park it right at the very bottom of Lake Michigan every weekend. Our beaches are not near as nice as what you'd find along the coast. No salty water or white sand, so we gotta make do with what the good earth provides us.

    2. yes, love me coconut, and lemon and banana smell too! I'm offended that nobody has invented banana shower gel or body lotion or at least banana tea... I'd kill for those :)

We have a lake near our city too, Lake Palic, but it is dirty and green with weed and God knows what not.... long time ago, during the Habzburg Empire it was a fancy summer resort for the rich and noble, so everything there is in villas and palaces and bowers and such things....

  11. This stuff looks awesome - however the word NOURISHING scares me because I have really thin hair and NOURISHING typically means MOISTURIZING which means it will leave my hair really FLAT.
