Grandpa Beck Busts Spring Break Boredom

We are officially on spring break this week! I want to say, "woo hoo!"  but we didn't make any vacation plans this year. Most of the girl's friends are out of town this week (as are mine! boooo!) and since the weather looks gloomy for the week, we'll be cooped up indoors for most of spring break. I foresee a trip to the library, a Netflix movie marathon, and lots of games in our future. Especially game playing! My family absolutely loves playing games together. It's a great way to pass the time, and Grandpa Beck's card games are some of our favorites. We met Grandpa Beck last year at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair and once he explained how to play his games, we were hooked! You can read my initial review of the games here.

We like to pop up some popcorn and settle in for some competitive card action. My girls are super competitive with each other, but we always have lots of laughs with these card games.

Grandpa Beck offers 4 highly addictive games:

Cover Your Assets: In this fast paced game you try to build your assets by pairing your hand with the discard pile or by stealing someone else's assets. Try to be the first person to accumulate $1 million in assets to become the winner.

Skull King: In this strategy based game, players will simultaneously bid how many tricks they will win. Come up with a good strategy, and scheme to win. If you like competitive games, this is one you must try.

Nuts About Mutts: A super cute matching game that is educational too! There are two versions to this game, one for the younger set and a faster paced version for older kids. Pair numbers, colors, or dog breeds. The first to run out of cards wins!

Golf: Fun for all ages! This is a fun game that is also great at improving math skills. Add  positive and negative numbers, and just like in real golf, the lowest score wins.

Grandpa Beck's games are easy to understand, fun to play, and perfect for all ages. The vibrant graphics are captivating, and the thick card stock ensures the games will withstand heavy usage. These games are a must have for busting spring break boredom, or for anyone who loves getting the family together for a rousing night of card game fun!
