Cord-Free is the Way to Clean! No Cord, No Bull #NoCordNoBull #Hoover

The holidays are here, and I have been busy getting my house ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Over the next two months we will see a lot of family and friends come through our doors, and having a clean and inviting home for our guests is important to me. There is so much to do, from menu planning to guest bedroom prep, on top of normal household duties, it sometimes seems there isn't enough time in a day to get it all done. I am always looking for cleaning shortcuts so I can enjoy more of my day, and my most recent and favorite shortcut is the sweeping I get done with my Hoover Air™ Cordless 2-in-1 Stick and Handheld Vacuum.

What I LOVE about the Hoover Air™ Cordless 2-in-1 Stick and Handheld Vacuum is the cordless cleaning feature. Because I don't have to worry about finding an outlet, tripping over cords, or having to deal with frustrating cord knots, I can freely move about my house getting the sweeping done quickly and efficiently. The vacuum is powered by a LithiumLife™ 20V compact battery that has double the capacity of the standard 18V battery, which means more run time and less battery fade per charge! The battery is also interchangeable with the full line of Hoover Cordless Cleaners (3 vacuums and a hard floor wet cleaner).

I have 3 dogs, 2 messy kids, and an even messier husband, so my floors need swept on a daily basis. I have an equal mix of hard flooring and carpet, so I appreciate the versatility of moving from one flooring surface to another with just the push of a button. No more looking for a broom in addition to using a vacuum! Additionally, the WindTunnel® 2 Technology uses two channels of suction to lift and remove deep down embedded dirt for a superior clean!

I also love that it is lightweight, so I can move it from room to room and carry it up and down stairs with ease. Bonus for mom: my girls have no issues lifting it, so they can't weasel their way out of helping with the sweeping chores!  The light on the front helps to see dirt in rooms with low lighting, and it's small enough to effortlessly vacuum under beds.

The Hoover Air™ Cordless 2-in-1 Stick and Handheld Vacuum really is an all-in-one tool, turning from a standard vacuum into a handheld vacuum within seconds for easy hands-on cleaning. It's great for quickly tackling stairs, corners, furniture, car interiors and hard to reach places.

Going cord-free is really going to help me save time on cleaning chores this holiday, so I have more time to focus on things that matter most to me. If you're looking to add shortcuts to your cleaning routine, be sure to check out Hoover's full line of cordless cleaners.

What shortcuts are you taking in your cleaning routine so you can spend more time enjoying the holidays and less time on household chores?

  2. You didn't just say Jason is messier than the dogs :))
How long does the battery last? Sounds wonderfully practical since cords annoy me deeply... I get tangled up in my computer cords on a daily basis!
Love your nail polish colour :)

    1. PS does it work on water? Because I see it has a see-through cylinder in the middle

    2. Yes, Jason's idea of cleaning off the counter is to wipe the crumbs onto the floor and I get so angry when he does this lol. I'd say the battery lasts up to 30 minutes on one charge. No, it does not work on water, but they do have a vacuum that is both a dry and wet vac. It's a lot bigger than this one though.

    3. but you can rinse the dirt out of it, or does it have some kind of bags?

    4. Oh, I see. You just remove the plastic canister and dump the dirt into a trash bin. If it gets too dirty, you can rinse it with water. But, obviously, you don't want to use it near water when it's turned on or get the electrical parts wet :)

  6. That's handy. I hate it when I have to stretch to reach the last patch of carpet and the cord falls out. Then I have to walk over and find a new outlet and...you know. It takes too much work.
Cheers, and I hope all's well with you and yours.

  23. Well - I will be skipping the shortcuts this year, because I found out last Friday that my job is being eliminated after almost 14 years...so after December 4th I'm going to be home for the rest of the year, enjoying the holidays, and getting some projects done around the house before I pound the pavement in January. I will now have the time to do my daughter's room without worry. LOL! :)

    1. Oh, no! I hope the new year brings you an even better job! I'm glad you can still look at the bright side with getting her room done without extra pressure of getting it all done in a certain time-frame, and you can relax and enjoy the holidays!

    2. Thank you - there are a lot of great opportunities closer to home, so I'm being very positive and am sure I'll find something soon. Honestly, I think the company did me a favor. I absolutely LOVE the people I work with, but over the past 5 years I have become very disenfranchised with the corporate business...I think that I would have taken the easy routed and stayed instead of seeking something else, but this gives me a good incentive to find something better. :) It's all good! I'm looking forward to just enjoying the holidays this year with no obligations but my family. I have 3 months of severance, so once January hits, I will be looking full-force, but I already see a couple positions I really want to apply for ASAP - and one of them is literally 2 miles from my home!!! That would be IDEAL!!!

  25. This is very informative article you have shared here on Cordless Vacuum Cleaners. I agree here with you that if many visitors come to your house, you must keep everything neat and clean. But it is enjoyable also to pass the time with quests. Thanks Theresa for your nice sharing!

  26. No one truly prefers cleaning. Alright, a few individuals do, yet the greater part of us don't! Whether it's your auto, your home or your garments, cleaning simply isn't entertaining. In any case, with regards to your auto, you ought to give it somewhat more care when you clean it.
