Today we will be doing something a little different. I am excited to pass over blog duties to my daughter Mariah, who has generously offered to guest post for me today. Yay! Without further ado...

Hi everyone! I'm Mariah. Maybe some of you have heard about me from my mom's posts here. I am excited to be lending my voice here today! I want to talk about the importance of maintaining a good skincare routine. Learning from my mom, (who, if you haven't noticed, has amazing skin!) implementing a healthy skincare routine as early as your teens is vital to keeping your skin looking and feeling great as you age. The first step to good skin is finding the right products to clean, moisturize and heal without causing damage to the skin. Like many teens, I experience very sensitive skin, so finding the right products that won't cause irritation or breakouts has been quite a challenge for me.  My mom just introduced me to Exposed Skin Care, and so far, I am loving the results!

Exposed Skin Care

Washing my face is the most important part of my morning and nightly regimen. Now that I am 16, I have a job, I volunteer, and I meet dozens of college representatives. Clear, healthy skin is essential to leaving a lasting impression on everyone I meet. I start my day by washing my face with the Exposed Facial Cleanser, which goes on smoothly and washes off with ease. I then apply a moisturizer with SPF. If I happen to have a breakout, I love the Exposed Skin Care Acne treatment. It's effective at reducing the breakout without causing any irritation to the skin. I like to use the Clarifying Mask once a week for maintenance, to keep my breakouts under control.

Exposed Skin Care

Adding Exposed Skin Care to my daily routine leaves me feeling refreshed and confident. Exposed Skin Care knows that the key to maintaining a smooth complexion is preventing breakouts before they begin, but should they happen, they have the products needed to get the problems under control quickly. Since my skin is so sensitive, I like that their products contain all-natural ingredients that are safe for even the most sensitive skin types. I would definitely recommend Exposed Skin Care to any teen who is battling or just wants to prevent acne breakouts!

    2. Sometimes it's flattering, other times it's a bit creepy. Like when boys my daughter's age try to hit on me on social media. Thank goodness for the BLOCK action ;) I'm sure they'd feel a little grossed out too knowing my age and that they were hitting on someone old enough to be their mother hehehe!

  3. Good for job and college recruiters indeed, a little extra step gets you above the rest and seen. Plus good for life as your mother proves.

  4. You're a good mom for getting this for her.

Mica's preteen. We're not totally there yet, but we've started the deodorant thing this year. I noticed that he does have a few little pimples on his nose, so we'll have to start him with washing his face more regular soon.

  5. My poor stepson has terrible acne. I suggested getting him something like this and he got offended LOL, but he's 18, so I guess it was the age talking.

  6. What a great job you did Mariah! I think teaching teens about good skin routines is important - something that later in life will help them prevent breakouts, wrinkles and dryness.
