This is the time of year that I find myself entertaining family and friends a lot. Cookouts are an acceptable time to break out the paper plates and napkins, but when I want to make a more gourmet meal and invite select people over, we do eat off the traditional dishes. The thing is, I seem to NEVER have enough flatware to go around. I've thought about buying more so we'll have extra on hand as a backup, but I've found that upscale stores are too pricy for a backup set, and discount stores have flimsy, easily bendable flatware. I recently found a happy medium with Surpahs.
Surpahs Delicate 20 Piece 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set is lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. They don't easily bend, and best of all, at under $25 for a set, are affordable! The 20 piece set comes with 4 salad forks, 4 dinner forks, 4 dinner knives, 4 soup spoons and 4 teaspoons.
The design is simple, and will compliment any dishware set. I like that the flatware doesn't have frilly designs. It's just sleek, smooth and easy to hold. The only complaint I have is the shiny finish. This may not bother some, but I find that fingerprints show up a lot easier on the shiny surface. I much prefer a matte finish on my flatware. Other than that, I am quite impressed with the design, style and quality.
