Our First Summer Vacation Activity Is Planned! Cedar Point, Here We Come! #iheartCP

*Disclosure- This is not a sponsored post. However, I am sharing the information in conjunction with my continued blogger partnership with Cedar Point.

Since we just came back from a pretty big trip last fall, this summer we have decided to stick with a few mini getaways that are within driving distance of our home. Sticking with yearly tradition, it's no surprise that our first planned summer vacation includes a trip to Cedar Point. Even though Cedar Point's official opening day is the 9th of May, we'll be heading over in early June.

My family gets so excited for our annual trips each year, but this year we are extra excited by 2 new additions to the park. The first is getting to experience the newly renovated Hotel Breakers.

Hotel Breakers

The 2015 Season will mark the debut of the newly-renovated Hotel Breakers. After undergoing a 2 year transformation, the hotel offers a new exterior, classic interior finishes, and newly-furnished  and remodeled rooms, which offer new furniture, bedding and decor, LCD TV's, as well as many other amenities.

Hotel Breakers

Other amenities include two pools and Jacuzzis, access to the Cedar Point Beach and Boardwalk, a gift shop, arcade, exercise room, three restaurants, Early Entry (access to some of the biggest rides and coasters before the park opens to the general public), discounted Cedar Point admission tickets, complimentary Wi-Fi and the comfort and convenience of staying right next to the rides and roller coasters of Cedar Point. Reservations for the 2015 season can be placed now online at cedarpoint.com/hotelbreakers or by phone at (419) 627-2106.

As awesome as our hotel stay sounds, we are itching to get into the world's best amusement park to experience the newest ride- The Rougarou! This season is bringing us the first floorless coaster at Cedar Point. For 2 minutes and 15 seconds, riders will be zipped around at 60 miles per hour, with dives reaching 137 feet! This is definitely a ride thrill seekers can't pass up!

Rougarou
Be sure to swing back around in early June to see what my family thinks of the new Hotel Breakers and Rougarou!

Are you taking any mini trips this summer? Will you be taking your family to Cedar Point?
