Theresa's Mixed Nuts: Ouch!

Ouch!

Allison has a fascination with watching YouTube tutorials. Mostly she sticks with hair and makeup, but recently stumbled on stage/costume makeup tutorials and thought it would be funny to play a trick on her sister.

Such a little prankster! Since she doesn't have access to the professional stuff, she had to improvise with some lipstick and play-doh. Mariah might have fallen for the trick if Allison was actually screaming in pain. I think she needs to look up some YouTube tutorials on acting next.

Did you ever play pranks on your family members when you were a kid?

    1. It's buried somewhere under all the clay and lipstick, I suppose ;)

  3. She did a good job with it, esp. since she improvised. My younger BIL was the prankster in our family for years. He was a stinker and almost gave me more than one heart attack, lol When I was expecting my first son he put handcuffs on one hand to be funny. Turned out that the cuffs were real (his mom had every single thing you could think of in her house) and he didn't have a key. I had to go to the fire station to get them cut off. And he was STILL laughing I think he was 14 then. ;)

    1. OMG! That's hilarious! Though, I wonder if the firefighters were questioning if it was an accident or if he was running from the police lol.

    2. We knew one of them from our church. He thought he was cute too and came out with a big hatchet. -_-

  4. Ok, that is pretty hilarious. We played pranks, but nothing that detailed LOL. We'd put a glass of water on a partially open door so it fell on the person who opened the door :)

  5. My kids had and Encyclopedia of immaturity and did things like this for months - none quite as cool as this finger though.

  6. That's funny! My biggest thing is hiding behind a wall, and jumping out at people. I've been known to do that to fellow teachers at work. It's fun to do it to Mica, or Isaak when they are in the bathroom. They come out and I jump out at them.

    Allison's funny!

    1. Your family must be a pro at dealing with haunted houses then! When someone jumps out at them they'll be like "Pft! Mom does that all the time. Come up with something better!" lol

    1. Yep, gotta have the acting skills too. She had her sister fooled for about a second before she realized the screaming and tears weren't up to par with a severed finger.

  13. hi Theresa!
I can tell you right now that NOPE; I never play pranks. I just never think about it. But my creepy, older brother thot it was great fun to kid, tease, or prank me. I think that is why I don't like it.

But I will admit, this looks very real. ummm, she is getting a head-start of Halloween, I take it? lol

  25. She's too cute and too funny. I got pranked on when I was younger a lot since I was the only girl and the youngest. My kids are too boring to do any pranking. They'd rather play video games. :)

  26. This is actually really good and almost had me fooled. My brother and I used to do stuff like this... future tip for her.. corn syrup and red food coloring.

  27. Sign her up for a career in the film industry. Clever little pranks like this are good for the soul because they are fun to orchestrate.

  28. That is hilarious. I am an only child, so not a whole lot of that going on. When I was in high school my cousin came to live with me for a while. We joked from time to time.

  29. My brother is a jokester and was always doing stuff to terrorize me. He would pretend to swallow knives and jokingly cut himself. It's a wonder I'm not traumatized.

  30. I really didn't play pranks. Pretty creative of her.
