Sleep Comfortably With The Pillow By SmartSilk

You know how many couples have the blanket wars every night? Where one spouse ends up with all the blankets while the other is left with just a corner of what the other has left them. We don't have the blanket wars here. Instead, it's pillow wars. There are 4 pillows on our bed. I start the night with 3 of them, and even though I hoard those 3, I still end up taking half of my husband's pillow during the night too.I have a real problem with pillow comfort, adjusting my pillows all night, so I lose a lot of sleep in the process.

When I heard about SmartSilk and their comfort level pillows, I had a feeling this would be the solution I needed!

SmartSilk Pillow

The Pillow by SmartSilk was designed to give you the ultimate comfort for a good night's sleep, once you determine what pillow loft you need. Sleeping with the right pillow is necessary to a restful night's sleep, and The Pillow comes in 4 different comfort levels, 1-4, so there is a thickness for just about everyone. To determine which Comfort Level is right for you, here is a handy chart.

Since I am a side sleeper, according to the chart, I should use a Comfort Level 3 pillow. I was sent a 1 and a 4 for review, so I am not sure how well the 3 works for me, but I have been using the 4 and can say that it is working great!

The Comfort Level 4 is a firmer pillow, containing the most loft. It does a great job and cradling my head, and supports my neck comfortably as well, without compressing too much. I do like a firm pillow, but don't like the ones that leave me feeling like my head is raised high, and the Level 4 lets my head sink in just enough so my spine and shoulders are aligned just right.

My daughter is a back sleeper, and uses the Comfort Level 1.

To me, the Comfort Level 1 felt a little too thin, but for her size and shape, it was perfect. I only got to test it for one night because once she tested it, she wasn't giving it back. She thought it was the softest, coziest pillow she has ever had. Compared to her other pillows, it was much softer, so I can see why she loves this one so much. Her other pillows were much too firm, so I look forward to a most rested child now that she has the right pillow.

Here you can see the loft difference between the Comfort Level 1 and Comfort Level 4:

  1. I need a new pillow in the worst way. I buy a lot of pillows, but I never seem to find one that's comfortable. They start out comfy, but then they get flat.

  8. We have six pillows on our bed and each of us uses 3. It's a little ridiculous. I need something that is firm and I think my problem is what I do have tends to flatten pretty quickly.

  9. We are about due for new pillows at our house now, too. It doesn't seem like we go through them as fast now as we used to, though. Switching to our sleep number bed changed a lot about how we sleep, and that includes how many pillows we each use and how often we replace them.
