Wordless Wednesday ~ Checkers

checkers

I haven't played checkers in years, but couldn't resist playing a game when my daughter spotted this over sized checker board. In case you are wondering- She kicked my butt.

  4. It has been awhile since I've played! Always such a fun game though :) LOVE the checkerboard...I've played on those before and prefer it to the actual board version.

  7. What a very unique checker board! I use to love playing checkers when I was younger. I need to get a checkers game so I can teach the game to my children. I bet they would enjoy it just as much as I did.

  8. My kids do that too - both gravitate towards giant games, and then kick my butt at them.

  9. Thank you sweet Theresa! Ya, I thought I might as well state how I am feeling, ya know. I mean I can't lie. I am an open book. Believe me, it was so HARD telling people about me having breast cancer. When I finally accepted the fact, then I could tell others. So yes, I am accepting the fact that I am mad, upset, not happy either. That confession also aids in getting a better grip on it all.

    Regarding the giveaway: My IG has jump up about 25 followers but zilcho on GFC. I still maintain that GFC isn't going anywhere. But many don't follow there any more, I guess. Silly blog games, ...{hearing rumors a putting them all out of proportions}

    Thank you dear friend! ♥

  23. That's why she has such a big, boastful smile - she's got a big stack of your chips by her side. Cool game board.

    Happy Friday, Theresa.
