Wordless Wednesday~ The Last Valentine

Disney Frozen

I'm not the kind of girl who gets sappy at Valentine's Day. But after buying these Frozen Valentine's cards for my daughter this year, I hand a pang of sadness wash over me. I realized this will be the very last box of Valentine cards I will ever buy. Next year my baby will be in middle school, where the parties stop. Such a bittersweet feeling!

  9. We don't do Valentine's Day stuff at school, well not that I'm aware of. I only have one more year of primary and then all three will be at High School.

    1. Middle school starts at 5th grade here. Used to be 6th, but they lowered it :( Forcing our babies to grow up way too fast!

  17. I don't even have kids so I understand about missing out on things. Be glad for all the years you've had, though. And just remember that she'll always be your daughter for the rest of your life. There will be other things you two will do together that will mean even more to you.

  18. Cool cards! I liked the Frozen movie. My kids span from age 11 to 19 so they're past the age of school parties, Easter egg hunts, trick-or-treating, etc. I absolutely miss all those times. I had as much fun as they did.
