Theresa's Mixed Nuts: New Massage Tool?

New Massage Tool?

During our recent hotel stay, Allison asked if anyone would like a massage with the new massage tool she found stocked in the bathroom. "Me! Me! I want one!" my oldest daughter exclaimed. She was super excited to be on the receiving end of a massage and couldn't wait! Until I heard "Allison! That is NOT a massaging tool you idiot! Don't rub that on me!" What was this new massaging tool stocked in the hotel bathroom? (No, it wasn't THAT! Get your dirty minds out of the gutter!)

Despite us telling her repeatedly that it was a bar of soap, she refused to believe us. And since we didn't want a massage with that oh so fabulous tool, she gave herself one.

Then proceeded to get ticked when she left it laying on my dresser. Because dogs can't read, they thought it said "Tasty Pet Treat" and chewed it to bits. Have I told you how happy I am to finally be back home?

  1. I have been concerned about you and now I see this post and have a HILARIOUS time reading all about your 'massage tool', hahahahahahahahaha. I was laughing so much I had to read it to HM and we both had quite the laugh. Sorry. Hope your dogs don't get sick? Yes, I am glad you are back home now. (hug)

    1. I am so happy to be home! It has finally warmed up in the house where I don't have icicles hanging from my nose anymore. The dogs were fine. I caught them before they chomped it to bits, but there were a few large chunks taken out lol

  2. I've always found it annoying when bars of soap are labeled as massaging bars, as if they do anything even remotely similar to a massage. As for your dogs chewing it up, we have a cat who attacks and shreds every sponge he sees. I don't know what his problem with sponges is, but he has always done this since we got him. Soap is safe, but sponges are in constant danger with him around. If only we could teach him to clean with the sponges instead of just ripping them to pieces!

    1. That is hilarious Steve! But I bet it's not fun to pick up shredded sponge bits the cat gets all over ;)

  10. Ya, I hope they have 99¢ Day back some time. They have the 50% off color still for the week, but my ydd and I were loving the 99¢ Monday; five item for five dollars is so sweet. But thanks for the encouraging words. Oh and glad to know doggies are not burping up soapsuds. lol

  14. LOL... that is funny. I would have let her massage my back with the soap. I will take a massage any day... even a soapy one.
