Eucerin Eczema Relief Review #Eucerin #SkinFirst

Having dry skin is a pain. Having dry skin and eczema can be unbearable, especially in the dry, winter months! My oldest daughter suffers severe eczema breakouts every winter. What starts out as red, blotchy skin, turns into rough, dry, itchy and cracked skin that not only looks terrible, but is quite painful. Since frequent hand washing can strip the skin of moisture, her hands get the worst of it. She has suffered peeling, cracking and bleeding that has been so severe, I have had the school nurse call me to ask what was wrong with her hands. In an effort to get control over it, we have tried many different creams and lotions over the years. We have found that almost every cream and lotion has been a let down in helping to calm the eczema flare. What’s worse than ineffective products, is the pain that most of them have caused. Many lotions have dyes and perfumes, and when applied to chapped and cracked skin, leaves a horrible burning sensation on the wounds. It’s heartbreaking listening to your child scream in pain from the burning, when the product she used was supposed to provide relief, not more misery. After a lot of trial and error, we have found one brand that has been tried and true in our fight with dry skin and eczema, and that’s Eucerin. While the original Eucerin has been a real life saver, I was thrilled to hear they have added a new crème to their product line specifically formulated for eczema sufferers.

Introducing Eucerin Eczema Relief:

Did you know that over 35 million Americans suffer from atopic dermatitis (Eczema)? Over the years, Eucerin has heard heartbreaking stories from people (and children) who suffer from the condition about just how much it can make day-to-day life challenging and uncomfortable.  The intense, frequent itching can cause loss of sleep and days off from work. Some sufferers even find themselves making significant lifestyle changes and avoiding fun activities because of Eczema. Eucerin is proud to be part of the solution through its newest line of products specifically designed to relieve Eczema symptoms.

Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Crème is clinically proven to significantly improve hydration, reduce skin redness, and relieve itchiness. It’sappropriate for both adults and baby skin.

The Benefits of Using Eucerin Eczema Relief Crème

  • Natural oatmeal calms, dry, itchy, irritated skin
  • Ceramide fortified formula strengthens the skin’s barrier and improves the skin’s condition
  • Licochalcone enriched formula soothes and improves the appearance of red, irritated skin
  • Fragrance, dye and steroid free
  • Appropriate for babies, children and adults
  • Dermatologist recommended brand

The cold weather has hit our area and we have been using the new Eucerin Eczema Relief crème for the past few weeks. This is the time of year that we start to see the beginning symptoms of my daughter's eczema flare ups, but thanks to Eucerin, her hands are still soft, hydrated, and free from itching, cracks and bleeding.

While the crème is thick, it goes on smooth and is actually very lightweight on the skin. It blends easily and dries quickly. I love that it is fragrance, dye and steroid free! Now my daughter doesn't have to worry about burning skin because of added chemicals!

  2. We've tried this before as well and I think I still have some in our cupboard. It really is nice and light and it's nice not having it sting, like you mentioned. Unfortunately it's not strong enough for the eczema in our household, but it's definitely great for mild or the beginnings of eczema. I also find it's good for having in your purse for when you need to apply moisture to the area out and about. Great review!! :)

  6. Oh you asked which parts: Isaak and Mica it's their scalps. With me it's more my forehead and lips that get dry. I know lotion doesn't effect lips, but mine certainly get dry during the winter months.
