Having grown up in the country and having farming family, working and playing in hay was an annual MUST - I would love to be amongst it again!

  8. I love hayrides! The last time I went on one, though, was many years ago because Uncle Lyle died. He would always take the cousins and I out in the pastures to see the cows and bull. One time when we went out there the bull was getting his business on with another cow. THAT was interesting!

  9. I don't think I would find a hay ride near me, but I have always wanted to go on one.

  10. Hayrides are fun. When we lived in Erie, Pa a guy used to drive his tractor around our neighborhood, loaded with kids and adults. We would give the kids candy and the adults beer. We never rode with them but I bet it would have been fun.

  13. I swear girlfriend, that your youngest is a 'mini-me' of you sooooo much! This is a great photo of your dolls!!!

Yes, those puppies eye have stolen my heart many times. I got to hold her for the first time when she was 10 days old. She was the size of her full grown snout/ nose today. She still loves me to pet her head like I did every time I held her till I got her at 6 weeks. I was suppose to get her at 8 weeks but the friend that gave her to me was hospitalized so I decided to take her off her hands early. Awh ~ cute puppy.

  18. Awww! You just make me miss the States even more. So many traditions that I enjoyed as a kid. Amanda saw caroling on the cartoon Garfield and said she wanted to do it too. (They got cookies after singing.) Last year it was getting sweets on Halloween that she saw on TV and wanted to do. :)

    1. I am amazed at the amount of people who haven't heard of a hay ride! Must be a US thing? It's basically a large wagon covered in hay barrels that is pulled around by a tractor. Usually through big fields :)

  26. You have a beautiful family. I have 2 cats. Somehow it wouldn't be the same if I posted a photo of my 2 cats for Wordless Wednesday. And then trying to explain to the cats what Wordless Wednesday even is would just be, wow, talk about frustrating. They'd be all like "feed me" and I'd be "but wait, let me tell you about Wordless Wednesday" and they'd be all "I can see a tiny spot at the bottom of my food dish. I'm going to STARVE!" And I'd be all "this is going nowhere."
