Flashback Friday- Tigers! Oh, My!

This week I am joining Camille's Flash Back Friday Blog Hop. If you would like to join, head over to A Sorta Fairytale, link up an old photo or old post, then get to hopping :)

The one thing you can always count on the summer bringing is the fair. In all honesty, I really dislike going to the fair. The crowds, the scents, the noise- ugh! Really, it's just not my thing. I think the last time we went was when Mariah was 2, about 12 years ago. We came across a tent where you could feed a baby tiger. I loved it, but Mariah wasn't impressed and was ready to go almost before we got a photo.

Do you go to the fair each year? Ever feed a baby tiger?

  1. OK, I can honestly say that I have NEVER fed a baby tiger, or any sort of tiger. But I have been to a fair or two. Once I jumped onto the back of a tiny train being driving around the pond and my mom swatted the crap out of me because it scared her so bad. I thought it was fun - free ride.

  2. Oh wow, I have never been to a place where I have been able to get that close to a baby tiger. Wow. I did have a huge snake wrapped around my neck at one of those things, though, but I can't find the picture anymore.

  7. Nope, don't like Fairs. And never fed a baby tiger but have feed baby kittens from a teeny toy baby bottle and I had those two kittens until they were 16 and 18 respectively.

So you are a frills gal, are ya? I wouldn't have guessed that really. Isn't that interesting.

Very fun post. I may have to join up next week. See, there ya go; influencing me again.

  11. You haven't changed a bit from then... You still look like a kid. My Grandkids got their picture taken with a lion in Las Vegas many years ago...

  12. I have not fed a tiger. I've been to a few fairs, but not here. Kind of odd I've never been to the fair in my own town.

  18. I'm not a big fan of fairs too, they're fun for about a half an hour and then I'm over it, lol. But that is awesome that you got to feed a baby tiger! I'd absolutely love to do that.

  19. I'm not a fan of the fair either. In fact, our county fair is starting tomorrow. I'm sooo not going. I fed a baby tiger once a few years ago when a small-time traveling zoo came into town. It was pretty cool.
