Cadbury Ice Cream Bars High Tea Party! #CadburyHighTea

Most little girls love playing dress up, and mine are definitely not an exception! As far back as I can remember, dress up games have always been a favorite of theirs. More recently though, they are loving all things British! From the bands to the Royals, everything about Britain fascinates them. So, what happens when you combine the two? One heck of a good time!

The girls recently hosted a High Tea Party compliments of Blue Bunny's Cadbury Ice Cream Bars.

review

They invited a few of their friends over for tea, finger sandwiches, fruit and veggies, and of course, Cadbury Ice Cream Bars for dessert!

In order to participate in the party, everyone had to select a hat and talk with their British accents. We hosted the party the day after Duchess Katherine had her baby, so there was a lot of talk about the newest addition to the royal family. "Let's go to Britain to see the baby! Let's wear our hats and say "Hello! We are here to see the baby! It will be a jolly good time!" Oh, how fun!

The real fun began at dessert when we got to tear into the Cadbury Ice Cream Bars. The kids got to choose between four different flavors- Cadbury Royal Dark, Cadbury English Toffee, Cadbury Caramello and Cadbury Vanilla Chocolate. I was surprised that most of the kids went for the "Royal Dark Bars" because most of the time mine don't like dark chocolate. Must be because it's called "royal dark" and we were having a tea party after all! All of the bars were so delicious! The chocolate outer layer melts on the tongue, and the vanilla ice cream center is so rich and creamy. While the kids were loving the royal dark flavor, my favorite was the new English Toffee bars. The added crunch to the chocolate made it all that much more delicious!  I can't think of a better pair than Cadbury Chocolate and Blue Bunny Ice Cream. It's definitely a match made in sweet tooth heaven!

While I don't normally let the kids indulge in too many sweets, the birth of a new baby is always cause for celebration, so we let the kids go back for seconds on the ice cream. I find that the Cadbury bars are actually a bit smaller than other ice cream bars I've had before, which I really liked. It was just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, without adding to the temptation of over consuming on fat and calories. Each box does contain 8 bars, so there were plenty left over too.

The tea party was a huge hit, and thanks to Cadbury, all the kids did have a jolly good time!

  12. Yum, yum, yum! Your girls know how to party.

On a different note, I've never told another blogger to re-visit my site. But I'm pretty sure you'd be amused by my response to your comment. Thank you for asking about "Go the f*k to sleep!" It gave me a good laugh.

    Be well, Theresa.
    Have a great week.

    1. You and me both! I used to stock up on those eggs when they went on clearance after Easter until I found out they made a Halloween version too. Now I just buy enough to get me through to each holiday lol.
