Zim's Naturally Based Pain Reliever Review & Giveaway!

Aches, pains, sprains. We all suffer from them from time to time. While they aren’t life threatening, they surely can ruin a day! With summer right upon us, if you are anything like me, you are spending more time outdoors. Gardening, yard work and exercise all take a toll on the body, sometimes leaving you with stiff joints and sore muscles. After spending many laborious hours working, sometimes a hot bath or massage isn’t enough. I need a little extra kick to help ease the pain, so I turn to over the counter topical medications to help dull the ache. I am an ulcerative colitis sufferer, and one of the many symptoms is arthritis flare ups. I have been getting them since I was 6 years old, so I have quite a bit of experience experimenting with different pain relieving products. The latest I have tried is Zim’s.

maximum freeze, pain reliever, gel, roll on

Zim’s provides products that emphasizes the use of natural ingredients such as Ilex Flower and Aloe Vera. Zim’s Max-Freeze and Max Heat products can be used to temporarily relieve the pain of:
  • Sore Muscles & Muscle Sprains
  • Back, Shoulder & Neck Pain
  • Painful Ankle, Knee, Hip & Elbow Joints
  • Muscular Strains
Zim’s Max-Freeze Gel is great for minor aches and sore muscles due to a simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, or sprains.

The product comes in a 4 oz squeeze tub. The gel inside is clear and has a thin consistency. It is super easy to apply, and rubs into the skin very well. I used about a nickle sized drop to start. More can be applied if necessary. It dries very quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. I haven’t noticed any residue left behind either. There is a bit of a strong scent once it is applied, but I was very impressed that the scent disappeared after about 5 minutes of applying. That is great because who really wants to smell like a walking medicine cabinet all day? I noticed the product really start to kick in about 10 minutes after I swiped it on. It definitely lives up to its name. It felt like a cold blast of air was hitting right into my arthritis. Zim’s Max-Freeze did a fabulous job numbing the pain!

This product can be used on people 12 and older, up to 4 times daily.

Zim’s Max-Freeze does not contain Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrance, Paraffins, DEA, Petrolatum, or Mineral Oil. It is not tested on animals, and it is a product that is made in the USA! It conatins Organic Ilex, Aloe and Arnica, Vitamin E and Tea Tree Oil.

Zim’s Maximum Heat is also great for aches are sore muscles due to:
  • Sore Muscles & Muscle Sprains
  • Back, Shoulder, Neck Pain
  • Painful Ankle, Knee, Hip & Elbow Joints
  • Muscular Strains
roller ball, roll on, pain reliever

I tested out the 2.5 oz roller ball packaged product, which I really liked. The ball made it easy to target just the right spot, and distribute just the right amount of product to the area. It absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving behind no residue, oily or greasy spots. Again, it did have a strong odor when applying, but I noticed with the Maximum Heat, it disappeared within seconds after applying. The product was effective at toning down my arthritis pain, however, I did think the Max-Freeze did a better job at dulling the pain.

Zim’s Maximum Heat should only be used by those 18 and older. You should not use if you are allergic to hot peppers (from the Capsicum family). It does not contain NSAID’S, Ibuprofen, Apririn, or Salicylate. It does contain Ilex, Aloe and Arnica with Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil, Capsaicin and Menthol, and is also made in the USA!

Overall I am very pleased with the results I have gotten from the use of Zim’s Max-Freeze and Maximum Heat products, and I will definitely continue to use them for all of my aches, sore muscles, and arthritis flare ups in the future.

  6. This sounds like a great product! Definitely something I could use for achy parts and I'm sure hubby would like to use as well. I like that it doesn't have that "medicine" smell like you mentioned either, because I hate smelling all weird from using creams that have those scents! lol.
