Jason's mom had an extra set of knives she didn't need, so she passed them on to us. I was badly in need of new knives, so this couldn't have come at a better time!
Jason's boss had 2 tickets to Tap Dogs that he was not going to be able to use, so he generously passed them on to us. Great seats too! If you have not seen Tap Dogs, I would recommend you checking it out if it comes to your town. I have never been a huge fan of tap dance, but the show was amazing!
Our neighbors just opened up a Golden Corral and invited us as guests for the team training dinner run through on Sunday. I have never eaten at Golden Corral, but thought the food was delicious! Those big tufts of cotton candy they have made Allison's day!
My daughter has been wanting a wool coat like mine for some time. I spent over $100 on my Banana Republic coat a few years ago, but could not stomach the thought of spending that much on a coat for her, knowing that she would grow bored with it in a year or two. Last week I went to the thrift store. As I was getting ready to leave, my eye caught a wool coat. Low and behold, it was a Banana Republic coat that was just like mine, but a bit shorter. Brand Spankin' New! It was marked $15, minus my $5 coupon had me snagging that coat for $10! A-mazing deal!
What a fabulous weekend for deals and freebies! Definitely makes up for the Black Friday deals I missed out on by staying home!
