Happy New Years Eve

Normally we go to Jason's parents for New Years Eve, but this year we are staying in and having a family fun night. We've picked out some movies we want to watch, some fun board games to play, have the party favors all lined up, and let's not forget the snacks!

This past year has been so fun! I've enjoyed getting to know you all this year and really value the friendships I've made here in blogland. I want to wish each of you a very Happy New Year!

What's your New Year's Eve plans? Do you stay in with the family or go out for fun on the town?

  6. Sounds like a perfect New Years eve to me! Last year Chris and I sent the boys to my mother's and we went down to Mohegan Sun (casino) in CT. I had gotten him tickets to see Kevin Hart on NYE, so we went down just for the show and drove back after it was over. We were actually in the car on the ride home (about 90 mins) when it turned midnight. Other than that, we usually do stay in. This year a friend of ours is having a small party (kids included) so we're heading out, but I highly doubt we'll make it to see the clock strike 12.

    1. We did the casino a few years ago too. It was actually a lot of fun, with the place bopping from so much energy everyone had!

  7. That sounds fun and safe to! I doing like driving around; just because of the others drinking and driving.

We're having a dance party for kids. We told the parents they could stay the night if needed. I think the only ones that will sleep over are my 2 nephews (4 and 7). A lot of people RSVPed, so it should be crazy. We're having a strobe light and a disco ball, snacks and drinks.

  8. Theresa! Great minds think alike! I was just thinking I needed to find your latest post and there you were on my place yacking away! LOL Me too. I am so thrilled to have found you that day I did; lucky me!!!!!!!!

We are staying in cuz a bit of a weird virus is bugging us. (mild fever, soar throat and cough) Yes, those dresses would be awesome to wear out. Hey, I have a grand velvet lbd that I bought about 9 years ago and I only spent $9 for it. It was reg. $90 at Macy's. They had this major clearance sale I happened upon on my lunch hour. I didn't even try it on. I asked the clerk for the exact price because it was 80% off of what? (there were many mark down tags on it) When she told me $9, I couldn't get my debit card out FAST ENOUGH!!!!

If we were well enough to jig at the ballroom where we met, I would be wearing that velvet lbd fo sho.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - HAPPY FAMILY - AND - HEALTHY BLOGGING IN 2013!!!!!

  12. I spent 30th night watching CD 1 of 4 CDs New Girl season 1 and was determined to watch the second one on New Year's eve. But my neighbor had barbecue party with Indian dancing so we attended that first. I had three cups of coffee in that evening so that I could stay awake to finish the complete season. Didn't happen though. Little A fell on the pavement road, hurt his knee, cried and only wanted to sleep with mommy besides him. Definitely I fell asleep too sigh..

    Happy New Year's dear! :)
