OVER! Crayola Back To School Review & Giveaway!

It’s that time of year again. Summer vacation is coming to a close and it’s time to get ready to go back to school. It seems every year it gets harder for my children to get excited about going back to school. Thankfully, I know I can turn to Crayola to help build their excitement and get them motivated to start the school year off with a fun start.

Since 1903 Crayola has been preparing children for school with the tools they need to have not only a fun school year, but also a successful one. I am sure most of us have had a box of Crayola’s popular crayons at one point during our own school days. But Crayola has come a long way from just being a maker of colored crayons. They have since grown into a company famous for constantly rolling out innovative and fun products that help children play, dream, create, and explore the world around them. When you put all of that into the classroom, children get excited about learning. This is why I am thrilled to have teamed with Crayola again to introduce you to some of their newest products that are aimed towards getting our children ready to get the school year started off on a fun and creative note!
school supplies, wild notes, dry erase, markers, window markers

Wild Notes Line:

color changing, crayola, markers, notebook, journalCrayola Wild Notes Index Cards, 1 Subject Notebook Paper, and Sticky Notes- Taking notes for speeches, exams, reports, and study aids just got fun! When you write on the front page of each of these products wild, color changing colors appear with each pen stroke. The special pen, that is included in each package, glides smooth and effortlessly over each page, and is the perfect size, even for still growing fingers! If you child prefers, normal pens and pencils work normally on the front and back side of every sheet. When done writing, the pen tucks away nicely in the the spiral binding on the Wild Notes Notebook Paper and Index Cards. This is a seriously fun way to write!
index cards, markersmarkers, notebook paper, markers

window markers, school colors, mega markerCrayola Window Mega Markers- This pack comes with 4 Jumbo size washable markers. It states it is great for all glass surfaces, but to be honest, I actually had a bit of trouble with these. We thought it would be fun to write our car windows for our first Friday night home football game. We wanted to show team spirit by writing on our car windows in our team colors. When we first ran the markers over the window it didn’t seem to show up at all. Then, when the marker dried, it finally showed up, but it was quite streaky. Going back over it again with the marker did not help at all. I wasn’t quite thrilled with these like the other Crayola products. The plus side was it washed right off very easily with a little squirt of glass cleaner.
You can see here that it is streaky and the letters didn't fill all the way in with color.

dark fabrics, bright, Crayola Bright Fabric Markers- The package says it works great on dark cotton or polyester blend fabric. We used these on black material and it did not show up well. However, when we drew on khaki colored material, the colors worked much better. You get 8 markers in a pack. These are so much fun because your child can decorate a shirt for school pride, personalize a backpack, put some creative designs on shoes, hats, or other clothing. The possibilities are endless! *These are not washable. Crayola Bright Fabric Markers are permanent on clothing and may stain household surfaces. I would not recommend letting smaller children handle these.*

bright, crayons, double sided

Crayola Dual Sided Dry Erase Board Set- This is such a fun product! The dual side erase board has a black side and a white side. You get 8 vibrant, washable crayons to write with, a built in sharpener, and a E-Z erase cloth. This product is great for practicing site words, spelling, math problems, and of course, artwork! Out of all of the Crayola products we tried, this one was my children’s favorite!

window markers, ice, shiney, washable, crystalize

Crayola Crystal Effects Window Markers- These markers were my favorite to test! When you write with the markers, they dry and create colored, icy effects, just like ice does on a window in the winter, only these are much cooler! If it doesn’t crystalize when it’s dry, you just give a line a little press with your finger, then sit back and watch it change before your eyes. You get 8 washable crystalizing colors in a package.

crystalize, markers, ice, shiny, markers
