Wordless Wednesday~ Minnie Mouse Cactus

I just bought this cactus at Walmart. It reminds me of Minnie Mouse. Let's see how long it takes before I kill it.

  10. It does look like Minnie. And I doubt you'll kill it. These things apparently survive in desserts with no one around...

    1. Oh trust me, if it has roots, I kill it. This is the 4th one I'm on. I'm hoping I've finally got the hang of caring for them down by now, but we'll see...

  11. I know they are called prickly pears...but when i first saw them in Arizona, I called them flap jacks and ping pong paddles and everything else you can think of, until I finally settled on calling them...pladdle flaps. I don't know! Just thought I'd share. I love pladdle flaps AND minnie mouse.

    1. I've never heard them being called prickly pears. I guess you do learn something new every day! I like coming up with my own name for things too! Love pladdle flaps!
